I am a bioinformatician with a demonstrated ability to grasp and adapt to dynamic environments quickly. Proficient in R, Python, and Bash scripting, I apply computational approaches to solve biological problems, particularly in genomic, transcriptomic and epigenomic datasets. My expertise bridges biological laboratory techniques and computational skills, enabling me to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. I am a PhD student at Deakin University working on parasite population genetics studies.

Currently pursuing a PhD under Prof. Alyssa Barry, focusing on computational biology & bioinformatics.
Thesis: "Network Pharmacology of Lycopene and Molecular Docking with Top Hub Proteins".
Project Synopsis:
- Explored **lycopene**, the antioxidant responsible for the red color in fruits, and its role in biological pathways. - Utilized **Cytoscape & Molecular Docking** to analyze lycopene’s interactions with proteins. - Used **CTD, STITCH, and STRING databases** to construct a gene network. - Conducted **gene ontology analysis** to understand the biological function of lycopene.
Thesis: "Prevalence of Multi-Drug Resistant Bacteria on Environmental and Medical-Device Surfaces".
Project Synopsis:
- Conducted microbial monitoring of **hospital and environmental surfaces**. - Evaluated the effectiveness of **cleaning practices** and detected **nosocomial pathogens**. - Performed a **cross-sectional descriptive study** at **Korea Nepal Friendship Hospital**. - Identified **multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria** and analyzed their prevalence in medical environments.
Received a **Ph.D. scholarship** from **Deakin University, School of Medicine**.
Awarded by **Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR)** under the **Government of India**. A **competitive merit-based scholarship** covering:
